What We Do
Cement and Lime Plants are familiar territory for us, as we’ve honed our expertise through hands-on experience in these environments.
Our core services encompass:
– Robotic (Brokk) and Manual Refractory demolition
– Rotary Kiln: Brick Installation, High-alumina, basic (magnesia), or chrome-free bricks depending on the zone, Installed in drying, calcining, burning, and cooling zones, Hot Spot Repairs, Gunite or shotcrete patching over worn areas, Burner Pipe Lining & Nose Ring Work, Precast blocks or castable poured in place, High-wear area due to flame impingement, Tire and Kiln Inlet Area, Castables or insulating linings to protect from mechanical stress
– Kiln Hood: High-temp castables or precast shape installations, Abrasion-resistant linings, Insulating backup lining, Anchor system inspection and replacement
– Preheater Tower: Cyclones (multiple stages), Lined with castable or abrasion-resistant brick, Shotcrete patching common during shutdowns, Alkali-resistant castables may be used, Risers and Downcomers, Erosion-prone zones with high-velocity gas flow, Gunite or brick linings with backup insulation
– Clinker Cooler: Grate cooler walls and roofs lined with castables, Bull nose and cooler floor repairs, High-wear zone gunning, especially under the nose ring, Refractory anchors may need to be re-welded during outages
– Tertiary Air Ducts & Hot Gas Ducts: Abrasion-resistant lining installation, Castable, gunite, or precast panels, Thermal insulation on outer layers
– Lime Kilns: Brick lining throughout the kiln length, Gunning of calcining and transition zones, Burner pipe castables or precast rings, Alumina-silica or basic refractories depending on process
– Coolers, Feed Chutes, & Dust Collection Zones: Chutes lined with abrasion-resistant castables, Wear-resistant shapes in dust collectors, Refractory in clinker transfer points
